Trump administration taps State Department’s Michael Anton to lead technical talks with Iran

Anton, who served on Trump’s National Security Council during the president’s first term, was part of the discussions with Iran in Rome last weekend. He is expected to lead another round of expert talks with Iranian officials this weekend.
