Musk Sounds the Alarm on Voting Machines ‘This Election Will Decide the Fate of America’

Elon Musk addressed a large crowd at a town hall event in Pennsylvania on Sunday, where he voiced his concerns about the integrity of American elections. Musk emphasized the need for a return to traditional voting methods, advocating for “paper ballots in person with ID.”

“I’d be happy if it was just that, you know, citizens voted. You know, I call that a win,” Musk stated, underscoring his belief that ensuring only legal citizens participate in elections is paramount. “If we can just make sure that only legal citizens can vote, which is how it’s supposed to be, I’d say that’d be quite a victory compared to what we have right now.”

Musk’s remarks come as he has been actively campaigning for Donald Trump, asserting that the upcoming election is critical. “This election, I think, is going to decide the fate of America, and along with the fate of America, the fate of Western civilization,” he declared, highlighting the stakes involved.

The event drew a massive turnout, with attendees lining up hours in advance to hear Musk speak. He also addressed concerns regarding electronic voting machines, sharing his perspective on their vulnerabilities. “The last thing we want to do is have electronic voting machines,” he cautioned, drawing from his extensive experience in technology.

Musk elaborated on the risks associated with electronic voting, stating, “And, you know, I know how easy it is to, you know, get a line of software wrong or hack a computer.” He expressed a strong preference for traditional voting methods, emphasizing the importance of security in the electoral process.

In a broader context, Musk warned of future threats posed by advanced artificial intelligence, suggesting that such technology could exacerbate vulnerabilities in electronic voting systems. “So what I’m saying is that I’m normally someone who favors technology. I’m super; you know, I’m a 21st century technology boy, right here. And I’m saying no, no machines for voting,” he concluded, reinforcing his call for a return to more secure voting practices.

As Musk continues to draw attention and support, he faces criticism from Democrats, including Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who has raised concerns about Musk’s recent initiatives, including a $1 million giveaway to promote constitutional rights. This backlash underscores the contentious nature of the current political landscape and the ongoing debate over election integrity in America.
